Using CF or GF filaments with a High-Flow (HF) nozzle is usually not recommended. This is because the design of an HF nozzle usually splits the filament flow, routing it through multiple smaller channels (typically three). The embedded fibers will almost certainly lead to a clog.
To my surprise Bambu lists them as compatible on their page - at least the 0.6 and 0.8 one. Which size do you have?
I’ve run petg-cf through HF nozzles. You can usually get away with it, just do a few cold pulls after. Try at your own risk though.
Thanks for the useful explanation, I have a 0.4 obxidian HF nozzle and my target is not speed but quality.
Actually I attempted to print using the standard X1C carbon profile and the quality, compared to the original nozzle was amazing.
So I was trying to understand how to better use this nozzle.
There are a limited number of filament configs for the H2D. And unfortunetly since the nozzle type is custom you may not be able to create a custom profile

BTW, the channels inside a HF nozzle still are much wider than the nozzle exit. So I think clogs are equally likely for the same nozzle diameter. the special coating of the Obxidian even is explicitly advertised for its exceptional wear resistance when using abrasive filament. For me, fiber filled are the first filaments when I think about abrasive. So I think it should be fine. But I too hesitate taking the risk of an 90€ nozzle getting clogged irreversibly ![]()

Instead of importing the Obxidian config file, you can just modify the X1 profile built into BS, that way all the filament profiles will still be accessible.
Also I think in future versions of BS they will enable the “Standard” and “High Flow” popup menu to make things easier, instead of having a new config to import.
