Sending print jobs over the network

Im coming from a Prusa background where I like to keep things offline and place print files on a USB to plug in to the printer.
With the Bambu Lab, if I set it up on my internal network (for monitoring via my phone more then anything else TBH), if I send a print job from the slicer directly to the printer over the network, does the file get stored on the memory card inserted in the printer, so I can then switch my computer off once the file has been transferred, or I can print duplicates directly from the memory card?
