I would like to compare myself with you and let you know a fact. For two days I printed Bambu PETG Basic Gold (why don’t they make this color anymore?) with the 0.4mm nozzle settings with the 0.2mm nozzle mounted.
I had never printed this filament and I opened the new spool so I had no references.
The result was exceptional!! almost similar to wood in every way.
Exceptional opaque, you will see from the photos below that there is no comparison between printing with the wrong nozzle (0.2mm) and the one with the right nozzle 0.4mm
Now the settings of Bambu Studio were those of the Standard 0.20mm with a 0.4mm nozzle.
But in fact by mistake I had mounted the 0.2 and not changed the nozzle on the printer.
as you can see from the two photos below on the left the 0.2mm nozzle on the right the one with the 0.4mm.
how can I reproduce this result using the right nozzle? I tried to slow down the print but nothing.
do you have any suggestions?
maybe it’s the greater air between the two layers or the greater compression of the filament in the extruder? the test in my opinion is really very interesting because the print came out very well, only much more opaque and silky to the touch, without any defects.

I don’t see any problem with continuing to use the 0.2mm nozzle.

Some fuzzy skin may help you get a similar texture.
it is not that case, I tried it but completely different… this is sooth, almost like pla matte
