I’ve got my H2C just for a few days, coming from 2 X1Cs. However, I’m struggling with severe VFA, very apparent in the black shiny PETG…. See the photos. While I was fully expecting VFA being a thing of the past or at least much less than the X1C.
Yes, the printer is on a very stable surface. A thick woodenbench fixed directly to the wall. So what can cause this, or this is a defective printer?
Rerun all the calibrations.
I’ve done that twice, also the Vibrations one a few times separately. Sadly to no avail

If you slow it down to Silent does it happen to the same degree?
You said you had the printer on a solid table, but with the incredibly squishy feet, I’m not sure it matters. My H2C moves itself around quite a bit. I actually reduced all the accelerations by 20% because the bench it’s on is also where my computer displays are and I got sick of watching everything wobble in harmony with the printer.
You could try lowering the accelerations instead of slowing the print speed. Same effect.

I’d wonder about the speed as well. Doubt this is the solution but what’s helped me with a similar issue (also PETG black) has been making sure Quality → Advanced slicer options “Smooth speed discontinuity area” is checked and then turning down the “Smooth coefficient” value from default of 4 to 1 or lower (apparently fractions are OK).
I’m also turning down accelerations and speeds in general, which seem to yield better results. Granted I’m too lazy (and busy) to fully calibrate every roll of filament I own, so there might be other ways to get similar results. But overall I’m finding the default Studio profile settings for H2C are kinda fast for good, or consistent, quality. Especially things like holes on vertical walls or large flat wall areas or sharp (< 90°) corners.
Anyway I think the “speed” color coding view in the slicer is interesting to look at when comparing with the final printed piece. Also cooling/fan.
