I am interested in hearing about your experiences with the H2D laser module (10 W in my case) so far. I am a newcomer to lasers myself, but I have already done quite a bit with lasers and will report on my experiences here. I plan to update this entry from time to time and look forward to your comments about your experiences.
General
Batch processing / automatic placement
So far, I have not had very good experiences with automatic placement. However, I am very satisfied with batch processing when the objects are arranged in a fixed grid (I use 3-D printed shapes to place the objects) and the parameters are set correctly. With a little manual adjustment during placement, the results are very good.
Processing curved objects
Processing spherical objects works very well if you keep a few things in mind. For example, the surface for scanning should not be too uneven. That’s why I made small wooden plates that I can place underneath.

Rotary attachment
I am quite disappointed that the long-awaited rotary attachment is still not available.
Wood
Boxwood panels 3 mm
I have had good experiences with linden wood panels so far. Both engraving and cutting usually work perfectly. Occasionally, a second round of cutting is required. Overall, however, it works well.
Bamboo panel 3 mm
I am still experiencing issues with processing bamboo panels. In particular, cutting usually does not work, and I have to recut several times, resulting in unsightly, burnt edges that are uneven.
Wooden balls
My attempts at engraving wooden balls work well; both text and simple motifs can be engraved easily.

Acrylic
I have had mixed experiences with processing acrylic sheets so far; cutting works very well. However, when engraving, I usually only get very poor results. So far, I have only worked with black sheets. I like the adjustable acrylic boxes from Maker World best.
