My X1C arrived today. I have an A1 and the X1C was a gift from my son. My excitement was tempered when the Accessories kit is not due to arrive for 3-4 days which is great since it contains the power cord and display screen. This process of shipping may produce good logistics statistics but is far from customer friendly.
That is quite different from when I received my X1C in 2023. Everything was in one big box, with the accessories box packed inside the printer.
It’s very odd that that is not still the case.
That’s strange. My X1C printers were exactly packed, everything fitted in one box for each of them…
I will also echo that this is very unusual. The box containing the screen, power cord and spare parts has always been inside of the x/p series printers I have received.
The X1C arrived two days ago. The AMS 2 Pro is arriving today and the Accessories Kit will arrived in two days. Bambu Lab said via chat that the Accessories Kit is required for setup/install when I asked. I was told the screen and power cord are in the kit. I thought it was just hex wrenches and filament samples.
Perhaps this was an attempt to have stockpiles of inventory in the US and elsewhere to avoid tariffs and other delays which makes sense. I’m sounding like some sort of asshole but my A1 retired two of my current printers and BL/MW have been great across the board so this was just a logistics surprise.
The X1C will retire the remaining two resin printers in short order no doubt.
