I know that I can tweak some of the individual parameters to achieve this, but is it as simple as cutting all the speed and acceleration numbers by half? Is it more complex than that? Setting them all to 50% feels unintuitive when it could be achieved by a simple dropdown menu in the project, printer, or device settings panels/screens. (Permanently, or at least persistent)
I often print overnight, and it would be really handy to have a setting on the print screen to select a printing speed, and have those settings persist just like the bed leveling, flow dynamics, etc.
I’m amazed this is not a simple option, or I just don’t know where to set it.
You can activate silent mode on the printers screen (in control), through bambu handy (device → printer see all → speed gauge) or studio (device tab)…
Gemini:
How to Activate Silent Mode
- On the Printer Screen: During a print, you can select the speed icon (often represented by a speed gauge or rocket ship icon) on the display and choose “Silent”.
- Via Bambu Handy App: You can reduce the speed to 50% in the device tab to activate it.
- Via Bambu Studio: You can adjust the speed on the Device page.

Yes, I have found those settings. I would like a persistent toggle somewhere instead of having to adjust it for each and every print. I am apt to forget, more times than I’d like. It would fit perfectly with the other settings on the final print confirmation screen.

Create a new User Preset with the desired settings and use that when printing from studio.
I do not believe there is a way to keep user presets from half baked handy.

I am afraid that there are a number of default settings that would benefit from user control. As.far.as I know, this is one of them.
Although sparse infill would probably be my priority 1
