Skirt layers greyed out?

Hi, I am wanting to build a draft wall around my project but the option to increase the number of layers in the skirt is greyed out. Can anyone shed any light on why this would be?
Thanks
Just to add i am using the latest build of Bambu Studio

It’s only grayed out when you have the skirt loops at 0.

not on mine, it is greyed out no matter how many loops i select, what version are you using as mine has not got skirt distance as an option

2.1.0.59. I normally run a release or two behind.

In “Preferences” turn on “Develop Mode”

Thanks, I now have skirt distance but layers are still greyed out

What version are you using and what Printer do you have selected?

2.2.2.56 with an A1 updated it today

I downloaded and installed 2.2.2.56. (Windows).

Can’t replicate your issue.

Thanks for trying,

what is it all about that a post has to be 25 letters or more, just a waste of pixels.

The forum provides an ample supply of pixels at a very low cost. White ones and black ones cost the same.

I think the minimum character count is to discourage posts with little content. Appreciation is easily expressed with one of the “like” icons.

Ok Folks, I have found the problem, I had opened a project that was built in orca slicer with the draft wall feature enabled, when i loaded the step file from fusion directly in to Bambu studio I was able to change the layers for the skirt and build the draft wall i wanted. Interestingly when i printed the orca slicer project from Bambu slicer it did print the draft wall that had been specified in orca slicer.
