SLANT3D Portals versus Makerworld

SLANT3D just implemented a great app for designers to sell 3D printed products very easy.

See this video for explanation:

How would this work with Makerworld exclusive program etc? Am I free to upload me own models (that are in the exclusie program) and sell them online?

Can I put a link on my Makerworld listing for people to order it through SLANT3D?

What does @BambuLab have to say about that?

Yes.

So to expand on what mugglemuggle said

You always own a full license to do nearly anything you want within reason with your own models, being part of the exclusive program just voluntarily restricts your ability to upload the raw model files to be distributed, you always own full commercial rights to sell physical prints of any models you design (subject to owning the IP’s involved, you still can’t legally sell a Disney model you made etc) and as i understand it, Portal is basically a print on demand service, so they just print and ship the finished product and the client doesn’t ever see the 3D model files and as Portal doesn’t distribute the model files they wouldn’t count against the model exclusivity you gave bambu

A feature like this to get your print without owning a printer would be great for designers, not so much for Bambulab (they want to sell printers)

On the other hand it might attract lots of new customers for them in the long run because printing it yourself is cheaper.

And for designers, we can’t do everything for free, right? So options beyond the crowdfunding (that still needs a self owned printer) are welcome.
