Slice to print overhangs concentrically from solid part and out

Hi

I’m new to Bambu Lab printers and Studio :slight_smile:

Please see the screenshot below of the Preview in Bambu studio where an overhang is getting printed, without support, so it clearly won’t work as it is printed in the screenshot.

With my previous Ultimaker printers and Cura slicer, I could set it up in such a way that the overhang was printed concentrically out from the solid part. In this way the first overhang circle attached to the solid part of the print. Then the next circle was printed concentrically and attached to the first. In this way it was possible to print overhangs like this with very good result.

How do I setup BambuStudio to slice the print in such a way that the overhang is printed concentrically from the solid part and inwards, in this case?

For future reference I’ll answer this one myself :slight_smile:

The area in question is treated as a Bridge by Bambu Studio, and can’t be set to Concentric.

The way to work around that is to increase the number of walls so that the whole area is printed as walls. Important also to keep the default “Inner/Outer” setting for the circles to be printed in the desired order.
