This is new. Not sure if it started with the latest Bambu Studio update, but the slicer is creating a prime tower with lines that start printing in mid-air. Any idea what’s going on here?
That’s completely normal, don’t worry
So, what is this supposed to accomplish? Seems like it just makes a blob off to the side, which is sometimes carried into the prime tower on the nozzle. I’ve seen this leave a mess inside the prime tower on some of mine. Then that mess sticks to the side of the nozzle as it travels to the print, leaving lumps there.

Thanks for the additional info and link to the conversation. Seems like many are having the same problems I have with this “improvement”.
