Slicer ignores small cuts in the part

Hi,
I just switched to Bambu from another printer, and found an issue in the slicer that I could not figure out:
I have a model I made for a replacement piano keypad. The part have a thin flexible area that allows the movement of the key. I wish that in that area all the material lines would be along the bend line.
To accomplish that (at least with the previous slicer) I’ve added a very thin cuts all along the flex, so there will be many walls in the flex, and no internal area to put the infills in.

But when I slice this model in BambuStudio I get diagonal lines in the flex.

Any idea how to overcome this?

Have you tried setting the wall generator to Archne?

Ignore that, I just tried it.

Change this setting: Slice Gap Closing Radius to something much smaller, I tried this, but, you should play with it.

Found in the Precision section of the Quality tab.

I’ve added 2 walls, and now this is perfect!

Thanks for posting this! This solved my issue of not being able to make a very thin (anything below .5 mm) sidewall for something like a box. It would just disappear in my slice until I changed that.

It generally does. I usually set it automatically for all my designs.
