Small font problem

I’m having a problem printing small font.
the letters are either partially there or barely there at all.
they printed great with my prusa mk4 so I’m guessing there is a setting I need to tweak.
I slowed the printer speed down a bit and it helped but they are still unreadable.

Try these under the “quality” tab:

Generally, I think this is determined by the size of your nozzle. If you want finer detail, you need a smaller nozzle. It will be slower to print as less filament can be laid down, but the details will be finer.

Do you know what size nozzle your MK4 used?

Another option is to use ‘Aracne’ (I think) wall generator. It will generate finer details in a better path. So you might try that?

Be sure to use the preview in the slicer. You will be able to see this sort of defect (first pic) visually in the preview before sending any prints.

Use better a 0.2 nozzle if you haven’t already

I’m using the .04mm nozzle that came with it. The same size I had in my mk4.
I’ll try the adjustments you folks suggest and see what happens.
Tks

i had the same problem it is size of detail vs nozzle you need a .02mm to do the kind of detail you are attempting

Well the settings you folks suggested made a definite improvement.
I’m going to order a .02mm… nozzle though.
Thanks for your help.
