I just finished a print that resulted in what appear to be little holes where all the corners the corners meet. The filament is PETG and is dry. I’m also using the settings from the Auto Flow Dynamics Calibration. Any idea what could be going wrong?
If you’re sure to be dry (no pops or bubbles), I can’t be precise without knowing the exact printing settings. Some generic guess, to consider it not already:
Recalibrate the flow rate (it looks underextrusion) and likely flow dynamics (as it seems the issue is less noticeable in smaller areas);
Check if using the correct filament profile (e.g. using HF filament profiles with regular ones)
Increase the number of layers of the top surface;
Use a different infill type (e.g. gyroid) and/or increase infill%.
Top layer cooling and print speed may require some optimisation;
Thanks for the suggestions. I just printed the same thing on the A1 Mini with the same PETG filament using the same stock GENERIC PETG profile and if came out perfect. So I guess it comes down to the settings on the H2D. I’m doing a series of calibrations to see the print quality can be improved on the H2D.
