I’m recording time-lapse video, but when the shutter moves to the left on each layer, it takes too long to start recording and the phone switches to video mode. Also, the part of the head connected to the y-axis is visible on the screen. What I want is to take a quick snapshot simultaneously with the head moving upwards on the z-axis and just capture the resulting image. Can you help me with this? Which G-code do I need to change?
I’ll try to give you a few tips. You can set your printer to take a time-lapse video in Slicer. With the ‘Smooth’ setting, the head moves to the side each time and each layer. This gives you time to take a video or photos by youre phone. Of course, the printer itself also takes a time-lapse using its own camera. This gives you two different views.
Furthermore, if this is all happening too quickly for you, you can also set your own pausing intervals in the slicer. When you press “slice,” you will see a bar on the left where you can set pauses. The printer will pause until you confirm it again on the printer itself. These are G-code pauses, but the good thing is that you can do all of this via the bar without having to write G-code.
