Got notification of new firmware. It seems the H2C is the forgotten child of Bambu. You go firmware updates and the printer isn’t even listed, like it never existed. Just H2S and H2D are listed.
Looks like still no fix for cutting with the birds-eye-camera. We’ll maybe next time. Doesn’t sell like it would be hard for them to put in a fix so we can at least USE the cutter.
That feature is being tested within the H2D beta. The feature will be available for H series. If you’d like it sooner there seems to be an H2C open beta. You would have to enroll in the beta and read it’s changelog. Otherwise you can wait until the stable is released. I’m not even sure the H2C beta is up to date. Haven’t been following it, but you’ll find more info in the H2D beta thread.
I joined the beta a few weeks back but never got the update. Maybe its full.
That or they slowed the addition of others. Looking at the beta threads there are a few bugs. Most likely waiting to address those. We just need to have some patience.
I posted this 2 weeks ago when someone complained that the H2S was the same thing. Seems fitting here as well

Then there are people like me. I get upset when a company releases a product that was rushed out without proper testing. Yes, things happen, but if I wanted this, I would just buy a Creality printer.

That was me and if you read it, it was prettymuch tonque in cheek - as i clearly stated - I guess we wait - but it was mainly a thread asking what stuff people wanted or expected and quickly turned into a “You are whining” thread
That said - it does seem odd that the H2C got a beta firmware before the H2S - I get the H2D as it is a much older printer and been in development longer
Either way, it will get here when it gets here - I am lookingforward to a few things, but still printing as much as possible now - it isn’t slowing me down personally
Well then buy one. I can’t see any universe where Creality provides better support for anything they make. ■■■■, their new products have a shelf span of only a few months. I find that comment even more funny when you insinuate that Creality has better testing.
Maybe. The H2D and the H2S have more in common then the S and the C. May have been easier to run the D and fix what’s glaring before feeding it to the S.

No, Creality doesn’t test fully before releasing their products, and Bambu didn’t do that until recently. Now there is new talk of yet another printer!! Maybe get the current ones running first.
Interesting how Bambu had no new printers for so long then suddenly now it feels like there is a new printer every few months.
Relax people .. making software is not that easy and even if the H is a shared platform they are not all the same. So many new features and bugfixes need to be ported and/or tested on the different machines before they can be safely deployed. Also releasing all fixes for all the machines in a platform at once is not smart from a support point of view if something goes wrong all users are effected and support will be overloaded. So its done in a cycle mostly allowing all the groups needed to move from model to model to keep the load on everybody within reason. So yes it feels that the h2d is now in the ‘lead’ with firmware and that makes sense probably has most units out in the world and i am sure a h2c firmware is being worked on that will merge in all the h2d stuff and probably some more for the h2c (like maybe better data/meta info on the vortek nozzles) that takes time todo. This all needs to be done while i am sure they are also working on new models in the H or P line…Bambu is clearly not done with the gen2 machines (H2 and P2) its still early in their cycles.

3 new flagships, yes. One that was due to be upgraded. 4 printers who’s lifespan will most likely be another 3-4 years before they are sent out to pasture. That even depends on sales.
People cried and cried for a bigger printer. They wanted something special. You get it, and not happy.
It’s very interesting how some feel any company snaps their fingers an a new product appears. The H series wasn’t born over night.
Are you trolling? Sounds like your trolling. Maybe a youngin. Maybe someone who thinks like a youngin. Welcome to the current age of manufacturing. BL isn’t alone in needing to nail things down after release. I think you purchased the wrong machine for you.
Again, those printers have been in the works for a bit. I don’t know about the H series but it seems it’s trying to cover all the bases. A 2 nozzle machine to help with multi-material in a more traditional way, a big single nozzle, and the nozzle changer to cut down on waste and have more precise color. Funny thing is, if the P was the only upgrade people would be crying about lack of innovation and still calling for a big printer.
Read these forums. Read any printer or items forums. NOBODY is 100% happy.
I personally love to help people. Lately I just can’t. More whining and demanding like petulant children than conversation or requests for genuine help. Read them. Most start with an issue and refuse to listen to anyone because they have determined it’s a design problem and nothing more. So many here should go to work for BL with their internet design degrees.
