Does anyone know if bamboo lab studio will run on a new copilot plus laptop or surface pro? I need to update my PC but don’t want to be stuck with not being able to work with BambuLab software.
Bambu Studio will work on Windows computers based on Intel CPUs.
Copilot isn’t part of any specification that would affect the compatibility of other software - it is a Windows feature.
Provided you are buying a modern computer with reasonable storage and memory you should be fine.

Thank you for your answer. I am specifically referring to the new snapdragon PCs which are not Intel but do have translation software (prism) which may or may not work.
Has anyone with a copilot plus PC tried bambu as yet?
I have tried it on my Samsung Book4 Edge w/ Snapdragon X processor. Everything works except for the live video preview. It says “Playing” but nothing shows up in the window.

It’s been a year since I first installed Studio, but I think video required that I add Windows Media Player Legacy to my Intel PC with Windows 11Pro.
I’m not sure this works on a Snapdragon, but might be worth a try.

It’s not letting me add the screenshot, but it was already enabled. So, unfortunately it’s not that.
I’m having the same issue. I’ve reinstalled Bambu Studio several times. It just starts and then shuts immediately. I unchecked, restarted, then rechecked and restarted media player feature, i stopped my norton firewall, and reloaded Bambu. so far nothing is allowing it to start. This is a new surface pro 11 with Snapdragon(R) X 12-core X1E80100 @ 3.40 GHz 3.42 GHz.
anyone have any ideas? it runs fine on both of my older surface pro computers, but just will not open on the new one.
It run just fine on Intel processors, 3 computers wth i7s. But requires x64 architecture minimal on Intel. I don’t know if it runs on ARM or Snapdragon. From what I read, Snapdragon can emulate x86 architecture but Studio needs x64.
I was thinking of buying a new Surface Pro but after a bit of research I settled for the Surface Pro 7+, which is the latest Intel with cellular connectivity. Microsoft plans on releasing a cellular version of the Surface Pro but on an Intel architecture later in 2025. Thats why i bought the older Surface to buy me some time for the new one.
If you need the Intel version, look for it on the business side and they should have them just not with cellular connection.
I am having the same issue on my new snapdragon surface. Tried reinstalling several times. DOES NOT WORK. Luckily, I still have my old laptop that still works. Frustrating! Bambu, please fix this problem.
Another Surface Pro Snapdragon user here… been using Studio fine for 6 months, now following update it refuses to open. Several attempts to unistall / install and then just spent 6 hours putting a fresh install of windows, to find out this is the issue 
any acknowledgement or fix in the pipeline from Bambu Labs?
