Be very careful with acetone vapour as the flashpoint is -18 C and the vapour is highly toxic. Storing a significant amount could also case home insurance issues if you have a fire. If you nebulise it with air you will have a potentially explosive mixture. Methy ethyl ketone and cyclohexanone are often used for PVC, they are also classed as harmful to health though.

It would be a lie to state I am that careful, but I have an exterior cabinet for paints and flammable products. Yet I have acetone within the home premises but in a small quantity.
Also, if I tried the concept, I would bring it to the faculty lab, where I could do it, maybe not safely, but at least without any legal constraints.
