Right after updating to version 2.4.0.70, the slicer appears transparent in the preview. I’ve checked all the Bambu Studio options, operating system settings, graphics card drivers, and other options.
I’ve reinstalled everything from scratch, without backups, and even deleted the user folder, but the problem persists.
When I revert to the previous version of Bambu Studio, everything looks fine, and there are no problems with the latest version of Orca Slicer either.
The problem only occurs with version 2.4.0.70. You can see it in the Benchy screenshots.
Sorry if my answer below is stupid as it is that way by default for several past versions of BS but…
Aren’t you on « summary » in the drop down list in preview rather than « line type »? Click on the arrow on the summary window at the top right and select « line type »
You need to be in “Line Type” not “Filament” if you want the orange looking one… maybe take a screenshot with that info box on the top right included next time.
Strange, can it be your graphics card options that’s interacting differently in different versions of BS like acceleration or whatever. I have same version on Win11 and above, h3li0 says it’s also OK on mac seems to indicate something different than a BS issue per se.
Problem solved. I don’t know if Bambu Studio has made changes to how it uses libraries with graphics card drivers, but I think that’s where the problem lies.
In my case, I have an AMD FX-9830P R7, and simply changing the drivers to version 21.5.2 was enough to solve the problem.
Keep in mind that the problem arose after updating Bambu Studio to version 24.0.70, and that in all previous versions and in all versions of OrcaSlicer up to the date of writing this post, the drivers I had installed worked fine.
I don’t know if this solution will work with subsequent versions of Bambu Studio or not, or if someone else with the same problem can solve it with a similar procedure to the one I used, but what I want to emphasize is that since we still don’t know the exact cause of the problem, I can’t provide a universal solution.

Thanks I am using an old computer with an ATI Radeon HD 4550, it is an oldie but functional up until now, but no new drivers. Looks like I will need to update my graphics card to use the new version of Bambu Studio…
In your case, now that we know which path to take, I would wait for the next Bambu Studio update to see if they’ve fixed that problem. If not, you could consider investing in a new graphics card.
