As some puts it, yes that’s exactly what Bambu Labs did much like what Apple did with their first iPhone. However, I give a (big) credit to their AMS design. Besides everything else, AMS made it so much more enjoyable to use the 3D printer, not necessarily because it supports multi color printing but significantly simplifies workflow on every print job.
