Hi, I just got the A1Combo but already got the Bambu P1S…
I have the same Harden Nozzle 0.4 in both, but I’m doing the same print on both. P1S is out just over 3 hours, and A1 is about 50 minutes more. I know it says they are the same speed, but acceleration is faster on P1S. But should it be that different?
I have the same setting & same Sunlu Pla Plus 2.0 (Bambu matte) on the factory setting, not changed.

i think in general the A1 is that much slower from my experience

I thought it might be a bit slower but not that much…
It’s manly because the A1 is a bedslinger and the P1S is a XY-core. It takes more time to move the printbed of the A1 to the correct place due to his weight compaired to the printhead of the P1S… Ok, even if it is just a fraction of a second, stil if you multiply it with the nr of the needed movements to compleet the print. It add up.

I know it is late, but today, I sent the same print through my A1 and P1s. It was a mono color PLA light saber handle with two parts. Estimated times, A1 7:45. P1 7:07/ Sent to A1 first, then P1. The P1 took a few extra minutes on its time. The A1, a lot less. Eventually, the A1 finished 2 minutes ahead of the P1, or about the same amount of time it took me to switch the Bambu Lab slicer over.
Also, no poop here,but have noticed A1 poops are smaller (more fiber?)
I never know how they work, and I think it depends on what you are printing, I think lol.
