Not sure if this is the right place, please do advice me if I need to follow a different path, but I wanted to report a spelling error in the Dutch language for the H2C (and maybe other models too). Currently using firmware 01.01.05.00:
In the menu of the AMS/filement, while drying filament, on the screen you can see the humidity, the temperature and the time left at the bottom of the screen. The “time left” is where the translation is wrong as it is translated as if it was written “left time” (as in the location/direction).
It currently says “Linkertijd” (which translates into ‘left time’) but should be “Resterende tijd” (which translates into ‘remaining time’). See the circle in the picture.
When selecting the AMS on the screen of the printer (3rd icon on the left row) and then selecting the AMS that you want to heat and select the material and drying time, there are few menus that pop up to prepare for the drying (shown only maybe like a second each). There it says:
“Beginnend: Filamemt locatie controleren” but this should read ““Beginnend: Filament locatie controleren” (where the m in filamemt should be an n to become filament).
Thanks for passing on for correcting this in a future update too.
That’s why it translates wrong to Dutch also. In English it should be “time left” or “remaining time“.
Therefore I have my printer set to English. Same as my computer OS and applications.
I am Dutch, but get sometimes annoyed with the weird translations, and since English is usually the language where stuff is developed in, that the best source.
However, I don’t think Bambu Labs source language is English
