Does anyone know an easy way to calculate the forces on a solenoid?
Most solenoids use a conical spring which means the return force varies with the position of the stroke. Secondly the electromagnetic force of solenoid itself will vary with stroke position.
Assume I have alrealdy used internet search and asked AI, and require some actual human expertise beyond “just hook it up and measure it”. It’s also entirely possible that might be the best answer, however, it would require me purchasing hardware samples to test. I have contacted a solenoid manufacturer w.r.t. getting some some custom solenoids made. Still waiting to hear from them. (Also been too long since I wrote in Chinese, hope I did not accidentally commit some horrible error)
