Yesterday, my usual supplier of all goods 3D helped me to change to better gears in the tool head.
We changed nothing else except a somewhat cloggy sock and the gears. Screwed everything back and tried to run the P1S again.
It started printed, just as I told it to, that without flaw, but to my suprise, the gears squeak now. Especially while load and unloading the filament. But more or less everytime the gears try to drag filament further down into the tool head as well. It’s almost like it wants to get greased, but these metallic gears aren’t supposed to be greased…
Has anyone had the same issue before and has solved it somehow? Again, everything is running smoothly, it is just that it is irritating to hear that sound all of the time.

Maybe that is the issue? The gears could be binding. When you have the extruder unit disassembled, check if you can move the large gear easily, if not it is likely the gears. Note: It should turn easily with the tension screw at full tension.
For my printer I ordered the fysetc gears, and later returned them because of the binding. The ones you can buy in the bambu store don’t have that problem.
Note that I haven’t tested them in a print, so I don’t know if that binding results in noise or any noticable effect on the printing.
You are not supposed to lube the extruder wheels that the filament passes between.
