I have an H2D in the Lase Combo with a 10 watt diode laser module.
Bambulab also supplies shiny stainless steel tags. My question is, isn’t the high reflection somehow damaging to the laser or other components?

No, laser has a specific focus length and power goes down considerably if it reflects. BUT BE AWARE, Eyes are very soft and easily damaged. Keep door closed.

Bambulab’s stainless steel tags look great, but the mirror-like finish can interfere with consistent engraving results. Adjusting the laser’s focus and power settings is often necessary for clean markings.
