Probably a dumb question but if I want to dry a filament for 12 hours would there be any problem if I for example dried the filament for 5 hours, turned it off and kept the spool in the AMS2 and then kept drying it later for another 7 hours? Does it need to be a continuous 12 hours?
It does not need to be continuous as the AMS2 closes the ports when not drying. Do note that stopping drying might add a slightly increased amount of time drying needed over continuous drying as the spool will need to heat back up on each restart.

Thank you. I was also wondering about the default drying settings.
The default PLA setting is 45˚C for example when both on Bambu’s PLA page and Polymaker’s PLA it states that it should be dried at 55˚C.
I would like to learn the temperature setting for Support for PLA/PETG as well. It say it is 75 °C on Bambu’s page but it also says Blast Drying Oven which I don’t know how different from what the AMS2’s setting should be (the default setting for Support for PLA/PETG is 60 °C btw.)
