Every time I load an stl into studio, the AMS filament lists a bunch of really weird filament types I don’t have. I have to sync the filaments each time. This is really annoying. Why can’t a new instance of studio read the last known set of AMS filaments half of the AMS filaments show up as ABS. All I have loaded is PLA and one slot PETG

3mf files carry along all the configuration from the person who authored it, including machine, filament, process, and object-encoded properties. If you see one particularly full of weird stuff leave a note on the authors page to clean up their workspace before exporting 
And be careful editing it cuz if you hit save on the profile edit dialogs… now YOU have that setting too!

It’s happening when I load STL files. Often just exported from TinkerCad
What happens if you manually (do not click a stl) run studio and switch to the prepare tab, same problem or not? If so, clear them out to your liking, save as a new project and exit.
I fussed around with the settings menu in the filaments bar. Somehow now it seems to remember my filaments. I wish there was a “save current filament settings as default” or something similar

By “Configure” the menu has a big list of filament types with check boxes next to each. I turned off all the types I don’t use. Then I saved the blank project as “Untitled.3mf”. I think it loads “untitled.3mf” by default - but am not sure. In any case, it loads the last known set of filaments properly.
