Strange issue when setting up drying on H2D

I have 2 H2D with 2 AMS 2 each. Both machines have one AMS powered by the printer the other with the adapter. I went to dry the filament on the older printer, started with the A unit which gets power for drying from the printer. It started, went to the B unit, and got an error that only one unit can dry using the printers power. What? OK, a while back I had done something with borrowing a power supply, but I don’t remember what. I went to the second H2D and did the exact same sequence, no problem, no error, both AMS kicked on, starting with the A unit that works off the printer power. I went back to the older machine, started the B unit which has external power, then the A unit, both are drying.

OK, I don’t know, I thought limitation with the printer? nope, something is buggered up and I don’t know what. Anyone else run into this where you can dry both starting with B but not with A? I’m going to do a reset of both AMS and have the printer relearn and see if it continues doing it, and open a ticket if it does.
