Iβm a noob, but from what I understand the quality of the surface when printing with Silk PLA are affected by the print speed and also by temperature changes.
In your case the pistachios affect the speed of the surface print. You should be able to see this in the slicer if you check speed after slicing.
I donβt know what the fix is, maybe to change so that entire surface gets the same speed?
First of all I think you made out, you got an extra color that seems to add a nice shading for free.
That said, I can only imagine its due to switching from dark to light or light to dark and not having enough flushing, you can check the flushing volumes setting here:

Thank you for the solution. I printed the model again at a slower speed. It turned out GREAT. Such a small setting - and such a big effect.

Eric - Thanks for the tip about the flushing volumes. I had the problem with smudging with other prints. Now I know where I can adjust something. Thank you very much!
