So when printing with the A1 at least the last couple of days I’ve gotten an issue where the inside of Curves have been stringing and slowly de-laminating as the print goes I don’t know what’s causing this and it’s generally causing me to pull my hair out I have tried slowing down the prints and turning up the nozzle temp I’ve tried drying my filament I’ve tried basically everything to get it to stop doing this does anybody have any kind of clue as to what causes this I’m using Creality Ender Combo Black PLA for this print.

Did you try to wash the plate : Dishwashing liquid + hot water ?
many many times and trammed and basically did everthing I can think of
needless to say i have been pulling my hair out trying to get my printer back in shape after a massive dip in quality all of the sudden support as of yet has been to say the least very frustrating I’ve also getting nozzle strikes on higher levels to the point where getting trough a single print is almost impossible for me
I assume that you have also maintained the machine: grease / oil the axes.
No hard points in the movements?
Have you tried another spool?
I have tried other spools I haven’t greased anything other than the y axis assembly and I’m not quite sure what hard points are the printer is more or less brand new I have maybe 20ish successful prints and the rest have been failures as of late
to the point where I’d say like 80ish % mess up in some fashion
Hard point is a point in head mooving which is hard to cross…
Grease is for Z axes. Oil is for x and y axes…
Is there perhaps a steep overhang/chamfer on the inner circle? And what layer height are you using? I don’t see that happening on the other curves on the spokes. If you’re using 0.24 or 0.28mm layers then this will be more prone to happening as there isn’t much contact area with the previous layer.
No there isn’t and I’ve also tried slowing down the print I’m only using the .2 mm profile with stock settings for the most part tried heating up the bed I tried heating up the nozzle I also get nozzle strikes even though I’ve trammed the bed like probably 50 times now
I’ve also noticed that it’s only on curves it seems that it handles Corners just fine I’m also getting rough surfaces
For the purposes of ruling out the model…
- Create a new project.
- Add a primitive cylinder and change the dimensions; turn off uniform, width and height 50mm, height 10mm.
- Add a negative part to the main object cylinder and change the dimensions; turn off uniform, width and height 40mm, height 12mm.
- Centre both using the object panel and selecting each object in turn.
- Slice the model, you should have a thin hollow cylinder.
- Print it.
Does this result in the same issue?
When this happens, I run a alcohol prep pad (the kind used in first aid kit) over the plate and the next print works perfectly. Not sure if that is recommended, but works for me. I also found the lowing the nozzle temp 5 degrees helps when working with certain filaments. Good luck!

This happens if you are under extruding.
Think about the motion of the nozzle on the inside of a curve. If the plastic leaving the nozzle doesn’t keep up with the distance traveled, it pulls on the extrusion bead as the printhead moves, yanking it away from wherever it’s just been laid down.
When going in a straight line, it’s no problem, since the nozzle is simply stretching the extrusion in the direction of travel.
Too low an extrusion temp can also be a contributing factor.
This has nothing to do with the cleanliness of your build plate unless the issue occurs exclusively on the first layer.

So I’m wondering if maybe my nozzle is clogged or if it has gotten blown out due to being dragged along print for like 13 hours I’ve also tried upping the temperature by the way and slowing down the print or maybe or maybe I got a bad extruder gear
Bump flow up by 5% and see if that gets you through the first layer.
Also, reduce first layer speed to 50mm/s if it’s not already that low…

I did provide instructions for what would be a hollow tube cylinder to really push the issues.
I must have misread the instructions then anyway I’m trying again
