OK. Was printing “Print in Place Kalimba” from Thingiverse and this stringing happened.
Using PLA, no supports, set z retraction to 1.5,retraction speed 50 with the attached results.

Maybe print surface adhesion? Have you looked up threads on cleaning build plates?
Are you drying your filament? That can also cause adhesion issues.
Last, build plate temperature might also be involved.
