Struggling w/ PC support to part surface quality

Been trying to print PC with a 0.2 nozzle, engineering plate with Magigoo at either the default 0.10 or 0.12 layer settings. The part is flat, roughly 3x5" and .25" overall thickness and has large recessed area on the underside requiring supports. The part itself is printing beautiful, as is the supports. But any of the surfaces that the support makes contact with leaves a very textured mess that you can’t even really scrape off.

I made some changes per online reading to last nights build, but the results looked the same as what i was getting with default settings. I changed Z Top Distance to 0, Base Pattern Spacing to 2.0 and Top Interface Spacing to 0 and it didnt seem to improve anything.

Help!!

Hi, what are you using for support interface material, the same PC? (I’m surprised it comes off at all with a zero gap!). 2mm spacing is pretty wide… which direction does that end up running in (in relation to the next model layer)?

Can you share your project file? I’ve only supported a few small areas with PC (and it wasn’t very pretty), but hopefully others here have more experience. Easier when there’s something concrete to look at. From what I’ve read, “Support for PA/PET” can work well as interface, or a PA material, but haven’t tried either (and am interested).
