Stuck at 70% when sending to cloud

This is a huge annoyance but not a show stopper…

Bambu Studio often gets stuck at 70% when sending a print job to the cloud. It just sits there for several minutes. Eventually it will complete and the print job will start.

I’m pulling my hair out trying to solve it. I’ve tried a different computer, a different network, different wi-fi, connecting the printer and Studio to my phone hosting wi-fi…

If I click the “Cancel” button while it’s stuck, Bambu Studio locks up. This leaves me no choice but to just wait it out.

Any ideas?

Huff and puff and blow away the cloud.

i turned on LAN mode ages ago because i got sick of it insisting it was “sending to the cloud” but then at no point did it ever seem like i could, y’know, access what i sent to this supposed cloud?

i know you could just grab it off the sd card but … then why send it to this magical cloud other than to track what i’m printing?

I’ll try LAN mode tonight to see what happens. I thought I had tried it in the past.

I like using the cloud because I can monitor prints using Handy while I’m away at work.

If a print has problems there’s very little you can do.

You can still control the printer if the machine is on the same network as your slicer. The path of least resistance would be to set up remote desktop on your phone and control/check up on your printer that way.

Or you could go 500% nerd and set up octoprint.

I tried LAN mode. It still gets stuck at 70%. Now it says it’s sending the print over LAN instead of cloud…
