Stuck Cutter

Hello, I have a problem with my printer. It’s a Bambulab X1 Carbon. Yesterday while printing, I noticed through the Bambu Handy app that it was not adding filament, so I went to see what was happening. When it actually arrived, it was not ejecting filament and I realized that a knot had gotten in the spool. To unknot it, I did the corresponding unloading process, but I couldn’t cut the filament, in addition to the cutter handle and the cutter getting stuck. I was searching and couldn’t find anything about it. I have disassembled the head a little and I think there is a jam, since there are clumps of PLA in some areas.

I attach photos so you can see.

I may be wrong but it looks like you have a jam within the extruder. You’ll have to remove it and disassemble to get it out.

Once that’s out the cutter should have less friction and spring back into place. If not there is a little black screw that you can undo and probably pull the cutter out. Same as changing the cutting blade.

Hi, I’ve got the same problem. I changed the cutter allready, same as extruder and nozzle. I cleaned up many times the extruder. Did you fix the problem? And if - how did you fix it? Thanks GS

Are you printing pla and by any chance is it to hot?

No I’m just printing ABS.
