Studio can't find my printer after updating Mac to Tahoe! :(

Is anybody else experiencing this? Im guessing its to do with the new Tahoe update - but my printer isn’t being recognised anymore when I go to print :frowning:

When trying on my works machine with the old system - it finds it just fine

No problems here, Mac Studio updated, Bambu Studio too and all works fine.

Oh! How odd. I’m wondering if there’s anything else that might be blocking it . Maybe some firewall or vpn thing maybe. I’ll Investigate further…

on Tahoe and everything is fine here too.

I would reconnect the printer. I’m sure you’ve already figured it out by now tho lol

On Tahoe too, with no problems.

My Mac mini is hardwired to the router via Ethernet

Have you checked that your router is sending out a 2.4Ghz channel?

It won’t connect to 5.8Ghz

If anyone is having this problem, go into system settings>privacy & security>local network and make sure bambu studio is turned on to allow it access to local network.

Also go into network and turn off the apple firewall.

If you need firewall software you can use soemthing like LuLu, its open source and free and much more powerful.

This is working for me now. I can’t remember what happened to kick it into action though
