It’s fine if tolerances are correct. Little fiddly here and there and glue will be needed. The cannon on top in particular.
My latest model design was a bit of a nuisance regarding the colour changes. I only have a 4-slot AMS and this guy’s head needs at least 5 colours. I had to line up the end of the grey with the start of the teal so I had time to swap the spools over (I gave myself a decent amount of layers but still think it may be time to invest in a second AMS…)
Printed using X1C. All Matte PLA filaments. Total time was about 21 hours.

Center cap for an old BMW. Not sure which one but apparently, you cant find these anymore. This is the prototype. If all fits well, it will be printed nicely in PETG-CF and painted for resale. It has the hilbert curve top surface. Elegoo petg sucks btw.
Edit: Decided to use PETG-CF.
Nope, no, zero, denied, we are not accepting this model here.
This is clearly a practical print and if people realise we can do practical things with these printers, we will have to stop all the fun projects.
I demand you withdraw your entry or the rest of use will suffer.
@zuperbuuworks will have to give up the dragons.
@jhermann will have to stop pretending he grew up in Egypt.
@mzip will have to stop scaring the hell out of us with whatever that last one was.
@johnfcooley will have all his figures laying down,
And I, (most importantly) will have to stop playing with my Willies.
I was super close to making it marvel themed. Had to fight the urge. It would actually be funny to make them into captain america shields. lol
I should enter into the hometown thing. I live in the town that halloween town was shot in.
Careful, you will join a weird bunch if you do that.

Ignore the flag, couldn’t filter it out.
You can blame @StreetSports for this one.
I made one of these a few years ago and recently updated it, I have finally uploaded them.
A PRACTICAL PRINT. What is the world coming to?
I like all the matching keys. Did you match the filament to the keys, or are the key color tags printed too?
I bought a set of keys to use with a few lockable cases I designed.
The cases I have at home are all different colours, the padlocks (for convenience and not for security) came in different colours, as did their matching keys.
When I made this and the other related model I matched the colours to the keys.
The keys (and padlocks) were purchased, and the key-coloured tags were printed.
I thought the many colours made the artowkr punch more than it would have with all of them the same colour.
Due to a popular request here and offline, I am working on a pro version of the Key Rack. Even a friend who thinks 3D printers are not as interesting as I do (he needs to be has asked for a version with the design changes I told him I was considering adding.
I considered this as a suitable entry to the Home Town contest, but, I already uploaded it.
Print me, Seymour!
Audrey II, the blood-thirsty plant from the 1986 film “Little Shop of Horrors”, for your print bed.
For anyone who is counting, I just launched my 600th model.
This is the Full Gyro (all sections connected by gyro pins) version of my Fidget Gyro and Spinner ranges.
What’s next?
I don’t really have a lot of time, but I’m up for printing something fun and useless before Christmas gets here.
I’m undecided so here ya go, here we are.
So 3 Choices.
- Death Star II
- Lambda Shuttle
- LAAT-Gunship
A scale model of me would meet your latter requirement, but, much less so for the former.
Very christmas-sy choices.
