Hey guys,
Recently I had a pretty obscure failure of an A1 Mini machine.
An overnight print job was started. I came back the next morning and the print had stopped in place approximately 25% through the print process.
Upon checking Bambu Studio, HMS did not throw an error. Upon attempting to wake the screen by tapping it, the screen was unable to wake and unresponsive.
Additionally, in this unresponsive state, the nozzle and bed were still heated to full printing temperature.
Ultimately this caused caramelized PLA to cake on the stainless steel nozzle.
Upon power cycling and reslicing, this issue has not been reencountered.
Has anyone else experienced a similar failure? To me it seems like a one-time failure of the system’s firmware, but it could be ideal to raise awareness or ask the community.
