Sudden X-Y shift during printing

Anyone ever had this before? Halfway a print, after completing the bottom layers and about 50% of the infill, the print shifted in both the X and Y direction. The print was still firmly stuck to the build plate, and the build plate itself also had not shifted at all. Looks like a software fluke to me.

A software fluke would show up in the slicer preview.

However, such XY shifts feature in several threads here. Usually, they are related to high speeds in combination with crossing infill like your print is showing or the need to adjust XY belt tension.

Monotonic surfaces, Gyroid and Honeycomb infill all feature non-crossing lines and will avoid the high speed nozzle bumping over crossings.

Try calibrate the belts. Re-tension them. They could caused by the belt skipping or the motor skipping, probably not software issue if the slice shows good in other softwares.
