The X2d can be used the First nozzles for the printing. The second for suppoort Material.
The tower is for better quality.the quality for Support is not so importend.
It would be nice to turn off the Tower with the second filament, so less Filament is used
So only a Tower is done with the printing Filament
You can adjust the amount of material that is used in the tower un the filament profiles. I don’t have the exact setting at hand.
But if you overdo it, your supports will not only look less nice but loose strength, because there might be gaps. You probably can find perfekt settings for each material, but honestly I don’t feel like it is worth the effort.
