Sunlu PETG Matte High Speed vs Bambu PETG HF

I just bought a 4 pack of Sunlu High Speed Matte PETG refills. $40.99
Upon opening I noticed the cardboard insert is exactly like Bambu’s with notch for indexing also the plastic straps are the same also,
Same filament?

No but Sunlu refills will fit in Bambu spools. There’s long been suspicion that BL is Sunlui is BL with no hard proof. I’ve often found the profiles work well on each so who knows. To date BL doesn’t offer Matte PETG

I have printed both side by side and in my perception they behave a little bit different and look a bit different:
Sunlu was a little bit more matte. And BL printed a bit cleaner. The Sunlu had sometimes problems with gaps right after the seam. I also compared Elegoo PETG rapid, but it really couldn’t keep up with the BL and Sunlu.

I did the same , different colors , BL was glossier Sunlu wasn’t printing clean either, I lowered the temperature to 230 and prints similar to BL but matte.
Thanks

That is interesting. I have printed it with 230 °C too, but I’m using a Obxidian nozzle, which generally needs lower temperatures. So maybe I have to lower the temperature even more for Sunlu to print nice.

I did dry it 12 hours after I first tried and that also helped tremendously!
