Can anyone help me with ideas on how to remove this 1st layer fail?
Brand new cool plate and had adhesion issues. Already nicked part of the plate using the metal scraper.

Try putting the plate in the freezer for twenty minutes. The difference in plastic/metal thermal contraction rates can often break the bond.
I also keep plastic "razor " blades on hand for scraping chores. Much harder and sharper than 3D printed scrapers but they will not gouge a plate. They also have many other uses around the house - scraping paint, removing adhesive labels, cleaning cooktops, food stuck to “non-stick” pans, etc.
Damn! I have some of those and didn’t remember. I’ll give both a go. Currently my wife that likes picking st things is going at it with her nails. ![]()
