Support Filament interface layer

Hi ! Is there a way to change the material on the bottom support filament only ? I know I can change the filament for all support layers, however I have a model that prints on a base and i only need to change the filament on the bottom support when the model meets the base

Basically i only want to change the filament for the bottom raft interface… not for all raft interfaces. i am able to set support raft/base but these doesnt seem to be a way to override it for the bottom only

in my image you can see the blue support being used for base rafts nut i only need it at the bottom not the toop

Not that I am aware of.

It’s more complicated than just the filament. The filament interface and spacing need to change if you’re not using a dedicated support filament for the interface.

Options I can think of: reorient the print to minimize the number of support contact points and just let it do its two-filament thing. Or, you could take the G-Code and manually edit it, search/replace every support filament change after the first one. But that won’t address the interface spacing problem.

I think you just have to take the hit and print it the way the slicer wants to print it.

Apparently Super Slicer will let you do this as its common when using bases… one support filament on the base and a different on on the model. this saves a lot of filament swapping as the model support can use the same material as the model since it has z spacing, but the base filament sticks to the base as it has none…

there is no “material modifier” for support

Yeah I would definitely benefit from this feature too! please could it be added?
