I have been using a new P1S with AMS for a few days and simply printing from default settings with the model downloaded. This usually means that the supports are printed in the same material as the model i.e. Bambu PLA basic. The first time I tried to print with the Bambu Support material I got an error. Can’t recall the exact wording but it did not like the filament material. There also seems to be some mixed opinions about this process. Some say don’t bother, some say you MUST use the support material others say use PETG for support when printing with PLA and vice versa.
Not finding a question in your post. For general support information, which plastics to use with specific model plastics, etc, the wiki might be the best bet for general info.
Sorry I thought it was self evident. I’m looking for advice on what to use for supports. Use support material, which failed when I tried it, use PETG when printing with PLA, use PLA when printing with PETG. I’ve just completed a print with PLA using PLA but it felt a little difficult to detach it.
