You would have to manually add a feature to your model that tapers to a small contact point you can break away after the print is done. The support specific print features couldn’t be used.
You probably don’t need supports on both sides of the model, so you could make your support attach to the back side, only.
You could also try increasing the thickness of your print, which will make it more stable at the higher layers.
