I completely didn’t think about the size, but that seems obvious. So looking around it looks like LM200-22B24R2-CQ could work as it’s the same dimensions. This gives us 200w, which is a 100% increase, so I think this could work for a PTC. Also, the above linked PSU does not require active cooling (just like the original).
Downside on this is that it’s only 240v input that’s not a problem for me as I live in 240v country, but this might be an issue for some. I’ve just ordered it to test it out (found it for $13 USD where I live).
Let me know if I’ve missed anything here in the specs. I’m just a DIY enthusiast rather than an actual electrical engineer.
Although creating an external PSU is easy and possible, I just wanted a one-for-one swap option that gave me more power available to tap into inside the X1C for addons.
