I have the AMS system, and I think my filament will be all used up in the middle of a print. Do I have to manually do it somehow?

I guess with the AMS filament back-up that does it. But can I pick which reel it goes to? On that circle with the filament choices I clicked on 1 but no noticeable setting change.
Make sure the filament type and color are exactly the same in both spools. If you are using Bambu filament with RFID this should already be the case if they are the same filament and color. I believe you have to trust that it will pick the right spool based on an exact match. I don’t think it will work if, for example, one is Bambu PETG HF and the other is Generic PETG HF.
Didn’t work. It did not automatically switch to another reel. Had 2 do it manually. there has 2 be a way. I think it worked a previous time.
Make sure it is enabled.
Be aware, it is buggy.

- It doesn’t work.
- It ‘worked’ but grabbed a filament that wasn’t the same.
These three outcomes are seemingly equally likely in my experience.
