Why is that, when I tell Studio to synchronize the AMS, it adds spools I don’t have. For example, I have 4 spools. After I Synchronize, it says I have 6 spools. And they aren’t even accurate.
Well I see 5 in the bottom picture, not sure how you’re getting 7 though it looks like 1/4 and 3/6 are duplicates. I’ve been some strange syncing after a suspend or a long session in studio though. Start it without a project and sync and see what it shows (if you haven’t already).
If this is with a project loaded, there are some check boxes at the bottom that can retain non present spools.
I think you have hit on it. If I open a new project the Sync operation seems to be right. With an existing project it must try to preserve current specifications, even if they’re not mounted. Seems wrong to me, but I suppose they have their reasons.
The merge color checkbox might solve that, I’ve just gotten so used to it I ignore it at this point.
What do the green
marks mean next to each filament. Thanks
I believe it means they are present. You’ll notice if you load a model from a designer who has 24 spools online and didn’t remove them before uploading you can end up with quite a few of their filaments in the list without the green check by them. When you have 20 spools online yourself it gets real fun.
WhatbInwas kinda thinking. Also if it was properly entered as new filament. But ive entered correctly and even synced, and still doesn’t CHECK some.
Doesn’t seem to be a problem but find it confusing sometimes.
