Takes a long time to send files via Bambu cloud (test storage upgrade failed)

I noticed that it takes a long time to send my files from studio via Bambu Cloud to my printers. The file is at 100% after 6 seconds and from there on it takes another minute + to receive the file back from the cloud!? That was very different a while ago. Doing the network test I get 2 error messages, but I don*t know if that is the reason for my problems nor do I know how to solve these 2 errors?

does anyone have a solution for this?

Normally, this means that the IP address or BambuLab could not be found. There are two possible reasons for this: Either BambuLab was offline or your Internet service provider had problems resolving the address.

One option would be to use a VPN or change your DNS settings to see if the issue is with your internet provider. Alternatively, if the problem occurs again, ping BambuLab to see if they are reachable.

To investigate the problem, you would have to test whether the fault lies with Bambu, your internet provider, or your home network - in parallel with the network test.

I don’t know what operating system you have, but every one has a tool for sending a ping.

Thanks for the answer….when doing a full network test I can reach all other domains, except for the upload-file.bambulab.com ?! For whatever that service/domain is good!? see the full log:

I have the latest studio version, and my printers are updated as well except for my P1S… that is not updated as I want to use the Panda touchscreen with it… so if you have rhe same error (thats what I understood) then that can’t be the issue why my prints take minutes from slice to send to print :frowning: ?!

I have the same error, but not on the printer. I tested it using a windows network tool. The addresses are not accessible.

Do all your printers have this problem, or just the one with the old firmware? Invalid addresses stored in the old firmware? - That’s pure speculation. Perhaps someone can compare this to a new firmware version.

This seems to be some kind of known bug.

I am not sure why this is not a bigger deal, or if a lot of others do not have this issue, but even is you use nslookup tool and query google’s DNS servers it does not help resolve “upload-file.bambulab.com”

Even if I query bambulab.com DNS servers in their DNS registration which points to cloudflare it still does not resolve.

If someone out there has this test pass ok in Bambu Studio, go to the DOS Prompt and ping upload-file.bambulab.com and tell us the IP it replys with and we can maybe add a local host file entry
