Been having an issue lately where Studio doesn’t consistently show the correct filament in my 4 AMS units. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Occasionally I have to hit the AMS icon/resync buttons, sometimes I have to reselect the printer, and sometimes I have to shut down and restart Studio or a combination of the above.
Let me also state that I exclusively use Bambu RFID tag equipped filament.
Device Firmware
X1C 1.8.2.0
AMS Hub 0.0.0.43
4 AMS 0.0.6.44 in all 4
Studio 1.10.0.89
Symptoms include wrong filament, missing filament, and missing AMS units. It is not consistent. When it works, it works fine, detecting all 4 AMS with 16 correct spools of filament.
Anyone have any ideas? It’s not the end of the world; a resync usually will fix the problem. It’s more of an annoyance at this point.

I would make shure the connection cables are firmly connected and/or change them for new ones.

For me I found I get the most constant results from reading filament in the AMS when I make sure the printer isn’t busy doing/printing something. If I only load filament after a print fully completes or before starting one I get the most consistent results. I still get caught once and a while having to load filament while printing but at least I understand now that it probably won’t register it and I just reload it once the printer is idle.
This happens when I first start Studio. I’ll start a job and let it run through the night after making sure I have a good 1st layer. I’ll then shut down my computer. In the morning, I’ll make sure the job ran (visually and a “Success” push from Handy) and then turn on my PC, restart Studio, and that’s when I see the problem.
