I just wanted to say, I’m greatly saddened by seeing folks still displaying their unfamiliarity with science by talking smack about the lidar on the x1 carbon.
It does work. It works well. It’s a legitimate tool. Learn more please.
To say it does nothing or it’s a marketing ploy only makes you sound like someone who scoffed in the face of the idea of “germs” back in the 17th century or such. And yes, basic profiles do work, most of the time, but I sure didn’t buy a printer to have it work “most of the time”. Stop misleading individuals.
For anyone interested in learning, here’s a real basic example of how well the lidar works that I recently had to deal with. Thanks again Bambu, keep em coming.
To those who says it’s not worth the money or doesn’t do “that” good of a job, if I’m as dumb as you think I am for saying this, it further proves my point that the lidar sure enables ANYONE to have successful prints.
